Frances Adair McKenzie

Frances Adair Mckenzie is an interdisciplinary artist based in Montréal, whose practice includes video installation, sculpture animation and collaborative ventures. She holds a diploma in New Media from B.C.I.T. and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University.
She is an artist working in the space between raw materiality and digital form through sculpture and animation. Adair’s practice is an experimental dialogue concerned with technological and bodily flows, as they accelerate between private and non-private spaces and how this influences content and form. Her video work has been shown extensively internationally and in Canada, most notably at the MAXXI Museum in Rome, Siggraph Asia Mutek Montreal and Tokyo Art and Space Residency.
