Axel Boman’s venture into electronic music began in Stockholm's vibrant scene of the early 90s. At 13, he graduated from Fryshuset Deejay Academy, where his passion for techno was ignited. Boman's distinctive sound blends dub influences with house and techno. His breakthrough came with the release of Purple Drank on DJ Koze's Pampa Records in 2010, coinciding with his graduation from Gothenburg University.
Known for his creative direction and A&R work, he also co-founded Studio Barnhus, a pivotal label in Scandinavian dance music, with Peter Nordqvist and Kornél Kovács. Boman's debut album, Family Vacation, was released in 2013. His latest project, LUZ and Quest for fire, showcases his collaborative spirit with artists like Kamohelo and Baba Stiltz. Boman's music is marked by its innovative use of space and rhythm.
