SVHS

SVHS is the solo work of Canadian Martin Dumais, a leading figure in Montréal's vibrant electronic music scene. Whether as a DJ and booker at the techno parties of the early 90s at the famous club Les Foufounes Électriques, or with his label hautec. Member of the award-winning globetrotters, Les Jardiniers and various ambient and techno projects, including AUN and Stärker.
The features of SVHS are more clearly defined during the year 2021. The project with the name winking at the 90s, becomes a re-formulation of the rave codes, vaporous but at the same time incisive and hypnotic. Live and DJ performances at Tresor and Ohm in Berlin in 2018, rekindled the desire to dance and will define the contours of SVHS. A first release, the ambient house/techno album Bong Zero (Archipel), reached the top 5 Electronica on Beatport (Dec 2021), followed by remixes and a minimalist techno EP Blau Montag (hautec).
