International Festival of Digital Creativity and Electronic Music

Saudade is a musical duo started by Montréal-born musicians Marilou Lyonnais-Archambault and Nela Paki in 2018. They blend electronic synthesis with a harp - taking this traditional instrument to new wavelengths by giving it a modern voice. The grooves are inspired by industrial dub, ambient, and jazz. The harmony between acoustic, hardware and software resonates with the ethereal voices of the duo. Saudade is the presence of absence, the dreaming of something you can never experience again, the nostalgia for something that has never happened.

Saudade has shared the stage with the likes of Oliver Coates at the Phi Center and Hans-Joachim Roedelius for Suoni Per Il Popolo. In 2019, they have participated at 24 Hours of Vinyl and Piknic Électronik. They frequently DJ as a duo at various bars around the city. They host a monthly show on n10.as radio, focusing on mixing abstract beats, weird dance music, and hazy atmospheres.
