Sonorous animal of some description on which no label can be pinned, Salomé Perli is a profoundly endearing and accomplished artist. Born in France and settling in Montréal in order to further her composition and sound engineering skills, this multi-instrumentalist thrives on interdisciplinarity, creating several performances merging electroacoustic music, dance and visual arts. As singer-songwriter, Perli will release her first album Dissonante later this year, in which she explores her own vulnerability in a purely acoustic way.
Since graduating from École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2015, Stefania Skoryna notably performed with Mélanie Demers and Martin Messier. Through sheer initiative, she choreographed events for MMFA, Jardin Botanique and Monument-National. She collaborated with the likes of Ensemble Volte, presented her piece Ellipses at Danses Buissonnières 2019 and co-signed multidisciplinary creations BEATS and Fall. Her involvement playing a key role in her practice, she has been teaching for ten years, introduced mentoring at EDCM and cofounded Nous Sommes L’Été, organizing summer dance laboratories in Montréal and Québec since 2014.
A Musical Computing graduate, Jules Roze builds bridges across art, science and technique. He presented his works in such venues as Seoul’s Arario Museum, the Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience, Krakow’s Photon Foundation and the Satosphere in Montréal.
