Ryan Thompson is a co-publisher at Anteism Books in Montréal. Since the establishment of Anteism in 2004, the publishing house has embraced innovative technologies, such as augmented reality (AR), and is currently focused on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on art and artistic publishing practices. Anteism has published art books by Canadian artists including Cynthia Girard, Scorpion Dagger, Aamna Muzaffar, and Frances Adair Mckenzie, whose book "Glossed Over and Tucked Up" features AR animations. Ryan Thompson is also part of Bookart, Anteism's printing and binding workshop.
