Jorge Haro looks into the aesthetics and scientific aspects of sound and vibration with a particular interest in expanded listening, sound visualization, audiovisual relations and data transformation processes.

His body of work takes different formats: CDs, digital album, video, objects, audiovisual concerts, installations and exhibitions, each of which complement with each other in every project.
His music releases have been published by labels of different countries and have been widely recognized by the critique of Argentina, Spain, USA, France and Italy.
He composed some pieces collaborating with Francisco Lopez/Absolute Noise Ensemble, Zbigniew Karkowski, Mitchell Akiyama, Sergi Jordà, 1605munro and Bruno Sanfilippo among others. These were released by labels form USA, Poland, Germany and Spain.
He has contributed with filmmakers, video artists, net artists, performing arts and dance directors like Claudio Caldini, Carlos Trilnick, Diego M. Lascano, Gustavo Romano, Brian Mackern, Manuel Hermelo, Rubén Szuchmacher, Fernán Rudnik, Carolina Larrain, Fabiana Capriotti and Juan Onofri Barbato, among others.
He obtained a scholarship to the creation of the National Fund of the Arts, Argentina (2017), with the project modul+, for the composition a multi-channel sound installation.
He made artistic residencies at EMS Elektronmusik Studio, Stockholm, Sweden (2016), and at the Mexican Center for Music and the arts, Morelia, Mexico (2013).
He is one of the curators of the concert cycle and audiovisual performances Escuchar [sonidos visuales] at the Modern Arts Museum of Buenos Aires (2012 to present). He has been the curator of the cycle Escuchar y Mirar at the Mexican Center for Music and Sonic Arts (CMMAS) (2015) and of LIMb0, at the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires (2002-2011).
He has lectured and given courses on sound, computer-based music, design and audiovisual performance at the University of Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain); at the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain); at Roskilde University (Roskilde, Denmark); at the Music Conservatory Aarhaus (Aarhaus, Denmark); at Caldas University (Manizales, Colombia); at Andes University (Bogota, Colombia); Telefonica Fundation (Lima, Peru) and at the Goethe Institut of Buenos Aires, among other institutions.
