Driven by the typically American, unremitting, surroundings of Minneapolis, his work is very experimental, and relies on the duality between minimalist rhythmic structures and up-to-date computer programming. Despite the apparent formality of such a combination, it allows for music nevertheless enriched by diverse influences, particularly film.
