Over the last decade, Tokyo-based DJ Haruka has emerged as a leading figure in Japan’s dance music scene. A longtime resident of the legendary Future Terror party, Haruka’s reputation within Japan has led to success overseas as well, with regular bookings across Asia, Oceania, United States, and sets at European staples. In addition to providing mixes to various music media outlets to show his sophisticated techno selection, Haruka also launched a label Protection to explore the margins between the dance floor and contemporary music.
