MUTEK presents the Digi Lab programme at SAE BCN

The Digi Lab series of #MUTEKES13 will take place at its official venue at SAE Barcelona on 10 and 11 March, with different Workshops with festival artists.

Workshop- "TouchDesigner for interactive installations".

Markus Heckmann, technical director of Derivative, presents a 6-hour TouchDesigner training at SAE BCN. In addition to video playback and image-based effects, topics will include 2D/3D generation and rendering, interfacing with external input and output devices, as well as investigating various protocols to enable control of an installation. The workshop will start with an overview of the interface workflow and the basics of the node-based development environment, and then provide context by giving step-by-step instructions for building example networks that could be adapted to interactive installations.

Workshop -"Desgranando 'Qubits’ con Flat Erik y Merca Bae"

Qubits' is the result of the blending of the creative spaces of producer Merca Bae and artist Flat Erik. Both blurred from all genres within increasingly dissipated boundaries.

To celebrate the project and to give more in-depth details, Merca Bae and Flat Erik are teaming up with Ableton to offer as part of the MUTEKES Digi Lab series at SAE SPAIN, an exclusive workshop to unpack all the details of the album's productions and share insights into the creative process.
