Leticia Trandafir, performing as softcoresoft, is a pivotal figure in electronic music from Montréal. Since 2015, her fusion of techno, acid, electro, and trance has captivated audiences both locally and internationally. As a co-founder of the Canadian techno label Humidex, she shapes the electronic music landscape by supporting emerging artists. Her innovative approach combines hypnotic rhythms with industrial elements, reflecting her commitment to using music technology to create compelling sounds.
Formerly the Music Director at Never Apart, softcoresoft actively promoted queer and female artists, a mission she continues in her role at Ableton. Her dynamic performances, featuring precise, emotionally resonant live sets, have highlighted prestigious platforms and venues across Berlin, Paris, New York and Montréal.
