As part of the special collaborations commissioned for Edition 20, MUTEK MX presents PAURRO & MNTY in an unprecedented back2back that celebrates, with double power, that magical and mythical feeling that arises in clubs, parties, raves and record stores in Mexico City.

With an expansive energy that mixes house and Latin party classics with deconstructed club beats and raver avant-garde, PAURRO lights up dance floors in underground clubs in Mexico City, Bogotá, New York and Berlin, as well as at massive festivals like Making Time and Primavera Sound.

Behind her fresh and determined style in mixing, there are more than ten years of experience as a promoter, programmer and label manager. PAURRO explores music beyond the decks: as a producer, -Onna-Bugeisha (SOS, 2023) is her most recent EP, and as a force to unite communities, through her traveling party House of Paurro.

Being a multidisciplinary artist who stands out in both the sound and visual fields, MNTY presents a unique skill for the creation of sonic narratives from her peculiar musical universe, which defies categorization. Each of her DJ sets tells a different sound adventure, capable of captivating ears beyond the fervor for dancing.

Her affinity for the electronic music scene in Mexico City has made her one of the most sought-after DJs in clubs and underground parties on the local circuit, and a regular presence at some of the most important rave festivals in Mexico, such as Comunite and 12 Days of Beats.
