Festival internacional de creatividad digital

Composed of Daniel Nieto and Pier Bucci, Skipsapiens is a project that perfectly combines technical ability, original sound, experimentation, and a nod to the heritage of electronic music. Having formed spontaneously in 1999, this duo's progression travels a trajectory of perpetual and impetuous research. Integrating influences and new sonorities, they pull back the curtain on a hybridized sound, evoking synthetic and abstract situations. Absorbing new sonic and musical textures, they've allowed an innovative style to flourish, through constant evolvement and variation. The results are deeply rooted in the influences of Atom Heart and Ricardo Villalobos, but could also be described as the sound of Berlin (where Bucci currently lives) fuelled by passion, warmth, and sense of pride that is uniquely Chilean. This performance also provides an occasion to celebrate the release of their disc ECO, which appears on the MUTEK_REC label-the first in a series of releases devoted to Latin American artists.
