On the verge of Edition 18, which feels more like the beginning of a new era, MUTEK MX reconfigures itself to generate experiences in which technology and innovation serve as tools for catharsis; to explore the brighter side that arises when mixing art and experimentation. With this Essential Guide, which will be constantly updated until the week of the festival, we invite you to delve into the activities of Edition 18 to make the most of the MUTEK experience.
After a long absence from face-to-face activities, the 18th Edition of MUTEK MX continues the relentless path of evolution and refinement of the festival. From November 21 to 27, new audiences and the community that the festival has cultivated and captivated over almost 20 years, will live the vertiginous series of experiences, reflections and sensations that MUTEK detonates.
Here everything you have to know.

Learn in detail about the performances, live audiovisual, installations and sounds of Edition 18 by format:
The diversity of sounds and technical approaches that fit into the electronic music label is part of the constantly evolving identity of MUTEK MX. For Edition 18, the live sets that result from the complex creative link between humans, machines, digital spaces and physicality will take us through a fascinating labyrinth of possibilities.
From lighting design, to installations and visual collaborations to electronic music live sets, MUTEK MX is experienced with all the senses. Thus, it becomes the natural habitat for the premiere of pieces and performances specifically designed from the audiovisual narrative, either by multimedia artists or in transdisciplinary exchanges between musicians, producers, visualists, coders, set designers and experimental artists.
