It’s a pleasure for the MUTEK community to introduce Pat Quinteiro as the new Director of the MUTEK ES platform.

With a degree in Art History and a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management (specialising in the organisation of cultural events), Pat has been managing the communications departments of important musical, cultural and social projects in Spain from her own agency for almost two decades.

In fact, her relationship with MUTEK goes back a long way. Since the second edition of the MUTEK Barcelona Festival, Pat has been responsible for the areas of press, public relations and institutional protocol and with the brands associated with the festival.

"It is an honour to assume the direction of the project with which I have undoubtedly felt most identified in my entire career. I am very proud of the impact that our model of institutional cooperation and partnerships - through our values with private brands - is having on our creative and professional community. It is for them that we work, with the sole objective of serving them as a tool for training, professionalisation and internationalisation".

For the last three years, she has also been directing the MUTEK ES Gender and Diversity Symposium.

"Working with a real and effective gender perspective for our community, promoting initiatives and creating institutional synergies that promote equal opportunities for creators of diverse gender identities and/or underrepresented scenes is a founding mandate of our entire International Network and one of the main objectives of the work we have been doing at MUTEK ES. To consolidate all that has been achieved under Alberto Nerone's leadership and to continue to amplify it, will be one of my main missions".

Pat is currently one of the co-directors of the global community of women in the music industry SheSaid.so in Spain (#Shesaidsospain).
