Qoa & Joaquina S. — Future Mythologies

Joaquina Salgado is a digital artist, multimedia designer and VJ specialized in immersive experiences and in the construction of 3D worlds and virtual reality. In 2018 she graduated from the National University of La Plata as a multimedia designer.

Nina Corti is an interdisciplinary artist with a background in music and sound art. Her works include performance, installations and video-art, exploring the construction of new relations of meaning from the conjunction of disparate fragments and non-linear narratives (hyperlinks, loops and rhizomatic structures).

"Future Mythologies" is a performance that was born from the exercise of imagining possible futures queerizing space-time. Image and sound no longer mix as differentiated and hierarchical agents, but as different forms of vibrating matter. A portal that opens from the fusion, conjuring up new ecosystems.

Amplify D.A.I is an initiative of the British Council in association with MUTEK Montreal, MUTEK Buenos Aires and Somerset House Studios in the United Kingdom. The program is supported by the Conseil des Arts du Canada and Fundación Williams.
