Featuring a notable appearance by experimental filmmaker KARL LEMIEUX . On the bill: electric intensity, white-noise exchanges, and total liberation.

Several years ago, Montreal’s MARTIN TÉTREAULT envisioned a mutant composition to be played on four turntables by non-musicians who have little to no experience with the use of their allotted machinery.  The composition has developed with each performance, and this year he brings the latest variation to MUTEK.

Saturday afternoon promises to be a showcase for those softer, subtler textures of electronic music: dub-techno, deep house, funk, and disco.  Featuring THOMAS FEHLMANN, BRENDON MOELLER, TRUS’ME, and THE MOLE.
