When MUTEK turned 15 in 2014, we took this opportunity to start retracing and mapping the more than 150 events we have organized—from the MUTEK festival in Montréal to various MUTEK events we’ve held around the world. We’re sharing this adventure not only with hundreds of artists, but also with thousands of festivalgoers, and it is the MUTEK community that is at the very heart of this project.

You can navigate through the menu to discover MUTEK’s trajectory, as well as a number of maps and stats, for example on EM15, MUTEK’s anniversary edition in Montréal in 2014.

MUTEK realized this project together with Novom Networks and the Université de Sherbrooke and Greencopper (for the mobile application part). The project received financial support from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.

The link on this page will take you to a form that allows you to provide some basic demographic information, and plot your attendance at the Montréal based festival or any other MUTEK related events over the years—and around the world. You can also contribute photos and anecdotes to the project. This data will be turned into various visualizations that will be displayed anonymously on the MUTEK website. Your photos could also be displayed in our Memory Lane photo album.

By logging in using your Facebook account you will be able to revisit the questionnaire and complete or alter your information.

Thanks for participating!
