MUTEK.ES, the newest member of the MUTEK family is proud to present the first edition of Micro_MUTEK.ES in Barcelona! Running February 17-19, 2010, the 3-day program presents the chance to discover diverse acts and projects, as well as several unique venues around town.
An incredible roster of talent jam "face-to-face" across thousands of kilometers, thanks to the latest in live networking technology. Performances include GROUPSHOW [DE], MODERN DEEP LEFT QUARTET [CA], SCOTT MONTEITH [CA], MIKE SHANNON[CA], INKWELL [CA], JEDI ELECTRO [CA] and VINCENT LETELLIER [CA].
MUTEK is proud to have been nominated as a finalist for the 25th edition of the Conseil des arts de Montréal's Grand Prix. We will be representing the "Digital Arts" category at the upcoming Grand Prix gala on March 23, 2010, where this year's winner will be announced.
Over the past two years, the Dumouchel family has been pleased to be a part of the Euterke grant in order to support emergent creators. The grant consists of two bursaries: the Euterke Audio Grant (DJ), and the Euterke Video Grant (VJ), each valued at around 600$. Both awards are offered by SAT[TransForm], the Society for Arts and Technology’s educational department.
